The Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling tour resumes for its crown jewel event, the Princess Auto Players’ Championship, beginning Tuesday at Mattamy Athletic Centre. Featuring the top-ranked teams of the season, it’s tough enough just to qualify for entry into the major tournament never mind raising the trophy at the end of the week with the best-of-the-best from around the world in action. The Princess Auto Players’ Championship will feature 12 of the top men’s and 12 of the best women’s teams from across the globe competing for the crown jewel of the Grand Slam season. Top teams include defending champions Team Hasselborg (Sundbyberg, SWE) and Team Mouat (Stirling, SCO) and reigning Olympic gold medallists Team Edin (Karlstad, SWE). The event will also...
